He was born June 17, 1915, in Fairfield, son of James WATERLOO Ferdinand W. Meyer, 89, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 24, at Balance Care West, Springfield, of natural causes. He was born Sept. 4, 1909, in Lotts Creek, son of August and Martha Kressin Meyer.

He married Faye Snyder on Dec. 25, 1938. Mr. Meyer farmed in Black Hawk County for many years. Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Phyllis Elaine Kuehl of Springdale, and Bobbie See of Springfield; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Edna Culbertson of Estherville, Lydia Frankl of Algona, and Alma Rchimcr of Perry villc, III.

Preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Carolyn Beth. Services: were Saturday at Zion Evangelical Church, Springfield, with burial in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Ark. Walnut Lawn DcGraffcnrcid-Wood Funeral Home, Springfield, was in charge of arrangements. CEDAR FALLS DeLHa Mae Hall, 62, died Thursday, June 24, at Marion and Alice Katherine Killian Wireman. He married Beth Marie Trcloar on July 5, 1937, in New Hampton.

Mr. Wireman served in the Civilian Conservation Corps during World War II. He farmed in Northeast Iowa; worked for Construction Machinery Waterloo; then worked at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 32 years until his retirement. Survived by: his wife; four sons, Richard of Jancsville, Edward of Waterloo, Robert of Evansdale and David of Hawkeye; three daughters, Joane Green-ley of Scarsboro, Betty Pond and Marie Pyle, both of Waterloo Robert James Hileman, 87, of 150 Eimridge Road, died Friday, June 25, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo, of natural causes. He was born Aug.

12, 1911, in Albert Lea, son of Percy and Mary Hileman. He married Irene Severs on Nov. 13, 1934. She died June 16, 1999. Mr.

Hileman graduated from West High School and Gates Business College. He was a cashier at Carnation Company, worked at John Deere and was a partner in Lincoln's Office Supply for 18 years. Survived by: a son, James of Waterloo; a daughter, Mary LeMoine of Cape Coral, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred and William, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Alice Myers of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: his wife. Services: family graveside service Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo.

There will be no visitation; the body was cremated. Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials: may be directed to the First Congregational Church, Waterloo. WATERLOO John Eddie Dunn, 89, of 914 Sumner died Wednesday, June 24, at home of cancer. Preceded in death by: two brothers, Bill and Jim; a sister, Blanche Wire-man; four grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Memorials: may be directed to the family. WATERLOO Fred Cornell Phillips 8 1, of Parkview Gar her home oi cancer. She was born Dec. 16, 1936, at Fern, daughter of John and Alena Klundcr Rindels. She married Byron Ray Hall on May 16, 1953, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mrs. Hall did upholstery work. Survived by: her husband; three sons, Robert Ray of Shell Rock, Michael John of Ellison, and Myron Earnest of Newton; two daughters, Pamela Sue Brown of Des Moines, and Alena Marie Smith of Shell Rock; 1 3 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Rindels of Finchford, Marvin Rindels of Cedar Falls, He was born Jan. 29, 1910, Grenada, son of Ed and Emma Hemphill Dunn. He married Lucille Phillips on Feb.

29, 1938, in Charleston, Miss. Mr. Dunn retired from the Rath Packing Co. in 1975, after 33 years of service. He was employed as a bus driver for Waterloo Community Schools, Hawkeye Valley Council on Aging, and Waldcn Photo.

Survived by: his wife; four daughters, Carole Dunn, Faye Perkins and Susan Dunn, all of Waterloo, and Patricia Fisk of Davenport; a son, John Dunn of Waterloo; a sister, Annie Mae Cole of Waterloo; 15 grandchildren; 27 DeLlla Mae Hall John Dunn and Lloyd Rindels of Belton, Mo. Preceded in death by: her parents. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Cedar Valley, both in Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m.

17, 1917, in Kosciusko, son of Sclmond and Alberta Scott Phillips. He married June Moss in Waterloo. They later divorced. He then married Betty Self on Oct. 25, 1950, in Waterloo.

She preceded him in death in 1987. Mr. Phillips served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by Rath Packing Waterloo, retiring in 1968.

He then worked for Yellow Cab Company and the Waterloo School District as a bus I great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: a daughter, Nettie Sallis; a grandson, Chris Dunn; and three brothers, Lawrence Dunn, and Charlie and Moes Kincaid. Services: 1 1 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Elm-wood Cemetery, both Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m.

Monday at Sanders Funeral Service, Waterloo, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church. WATERLOO Daniel W. Allen, 29, of New Hartford, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 24, from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident near Dike. He was born April 28, 1970, in Waterloo.

He was a 1988 graduate of Waterloo East High and had been employed as a line striper Fred Phillips Sr 1 i Waterloo Marjorie Haight, 78, of 7614 Sage Road, died Thursday, June 24, at the Western Home, Cedar Falls, from complications of cancer. She was born Nov. 18, 1920, in Casey, daughter of William and Margaret Rea May. She married Lee Haight on Sept. 17, 1949, in Oak Park, 111.

Mrs. Haight graduated from Cornell College, Mount Vernon. She taught home economics in Clarence and Knoxville, and also worked as a camp director for the YWCA, Waterloo. Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Marilyn driver. Survived by: four sons, Frederick C.

(Rick) Moss of Waterloo, Fred C. Phillips, of Los Angeles, Marlon D. Phillips and Byron D. Phillips, both of Waterloo; a daughter, Karen L. Phillips of Waterloo; three sisters, Clara Sallis, Dorothy Cooper, and Lucille Dunn, all of Waterloo; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Elenc Cooper; four brothers, Haywood, Walter, Joe Willy and Denman; a son, Morris Cooper; and a daughter, Stephanie Ann Phillips. Meek, 70, of Greene, died Thursday, June 24, at Liebe Care Center, Greene, of cancer; survivors include her husband, Wayne; three sons, Jerry of Greene, Jim of Dows and Jeff 1 999, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.

She was born on June 2, 1953, in Dumaguete City, Philippines, daughter of Gregorio E. and Rosario (Lim) Uymatiao. She received a B.A. degree (Cum Laude) from St. Paul College, Dumaguete City, Philippines, in 1973; her medical degree from Santo Tomas University Hospital, Manila; and received her medical license in the Philippines in 1978.

She served residency in General Psychiatry from 1980 to 1983 and in Child Psychiatry from 1983 to 1985 at City Hospital Center at Elmhurst in New York City, N.Y., which is affiliated with Mt. Sinai Dr. Catherine Lim Uymatiao School of Medicine. From 1982 to 1983 she was a chief resident and instructor at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.

She was a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital from 1986 to 1995 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. From 1986 to 1991 she had a part-time private practice in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry in Sydney, Nova Scotia. From 1995 to 1997 she was in private practice with Psychiatric Associates of Northeast Iowa in Waterloo. Surviving are her parents in Dumaguete City; and six brothers, Geoffrey of Manila, Gabriel of Sydney, Australia, Gregorio Gilbert, George and Gerard, all of Dumaguete City. Although it is hard to accept that she is now gone, it is comforting to hold on to the belief that one day we will again be together with her.

Cheney, 87, of Waterloo, formerly of Osage, died Wednesday, June 23, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo, of natural causes; survivors include a daughter, Lina Marie Taber of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn, in 1995; and two brothers; memorial services were Saturday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with burial in Stillwater Cemetery, rural Orchard; Mrs. Cheney was a charter member and president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
