WATERLOO Clyde H. Hemsath, 76, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Waterloo, died Feb. 14 at Presbyterian Hospital, Albuquerque, of lung cancer. He was born March 16, 1925, in Waterloo, son of Hank and Marie Eldridge Hemsath. He was employed as a district scout executive for Boy Scouts of America, serving in Davenport, Denver and Sterling, and Cheyenne, Wyo.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the European Theater. Survived by: a son, Eric of Cabool, two daughters, Ana Hemsath of Albuquerque and Nancy Lowrey of Rolla, five grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Timson of Waterloo; and two brothers, Elmer and Clifford.
