Even the most Bkeptical who defy superstition and Journey forth on Friday and sit at a table of thirteen guests, really and truly admit finding a keen pleasure in celebrating this one particular night when witches and fairy folk invest the earth.

Hallowe'en is a time for fun and frolic, and hostesses both young and old are planning to honor the occasion in various ways. Every minute detail must be carried out with suggestions of the mystical night, even to the Invitations, decorations, entertainment and refreshments. Hallowe'en Suggestions. There are many ways to send invitations to Hallowe'en events. Special note paper may be, used, monogram correspondence cards, or Hallowe'en post cards are suitable for bearing the Invitation.

There is the peeling of the apple, where care is taken not to break tho paring; If this is successfully done it is then thrown over the left shoulder and the letter it forma will be the initial of that person's future mate.

Bobbing for apples in a tub of water; biting the apple bus-pended by a string 1n the open doorway; eating the apple and counting the remaining seeds, according to the old verse: "One I love, two I love, three I love, I say; four I love with all my heart and five I cast away; six he loves, seven she loves, eight they both love, nine ho comes, ten he tarries, eleven he courts and twelve he marries," are a few of the games that one fruit offers.
