preceded her in death. She graduated from Guthrie igh School. uth spent her time as a farmwife and homemaker. She also worked at the Black awk otel in edar Falls as a housekeeper and for Mildred eise at the 218 Greenhouse. Petersen on July 29, 1950, at the Fredsville Lutheran hurch in edar Falls. graduated from ouston igh School in 1947 and attended several classes at awkeye ommunity ollege. Bob began his construction career in 1948. owned and operated Johnson onstruction Painting, Papering and ome ecorating from 1963 to 1995. Then he worked as the udson building inspector from 1995 to 2007.

Bob was a member of the ommunity hurch of udson, aa and the Masonic Temple Lodge 394. Witcombe on March 16, 1945, at the hurch of hrist in herokee. died a pril 7, 1967. onna married harles Gadke on ec. 13, 1975, at Edge hurch of hrist, Waterloo. died July 13, 1985.

Kirk was a farmer and land owner, before retiring in 1989. was an elder and member of the choir at First Presbyterian hurch in La Porte ity, a member of the La Porte ity Golf lub and an active Farm Bureau member. Survived by: two daughters, ianne (Max) eckling of es Moines and Luanne avid) Smith of McFarland, four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
